Abdominal Oncology Workshop

Introduction

The course aims to give deep insights in liver oncology to board-certified radiologists and to show the importance of strong integration of imaging with clinical, biological, and surgical expertise. The two-day course addresses three different topics: hepatocellular carcinoma, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, and liver metastases. All topics will be introduced with cases highlighting the following lecture. Sessions will end up with multidisciplinary team sessions involving all experts and the participants.

Board-certified radiologists, radiologists in the last years of training

-to understand the importance of integrating imaging in the patient management in liver oncology
-to be aware of the burning issues in liver oncology
-to be able to discuss cases at MDT
