ESGAR Liver Imaging Workshop (Clinical)
October 29 - 30, 2020
ESGAR educational activities focused on imaging modalities or specific techniques. These workshops have the aim to provide practical skills and information, using different teaching formats: lectures, panel discussions and hands-on training on workstations.
Radiologists, radiologists in training and radiographers
you want to learn how to do and how to read a CT Colonography examination.
you are completely unable to use a workstation (for CTC courses only) or you do not want to spend most of your time reading cases.
ESGAR educational activities targeted on specific organs or disease, and discussed from a clinical perspective. An integrated multimodality approach offering a comprehensive coverage of the topic, with radiologic-pathologic correlations as part of the programme. The format of the workshop will include formal lectures and an interactive discussion on real clinical cases.
Radiologists and radiologists in training
you want to improve your knowledge on specific organ-oriented topics and you want to learn about patient management in different clinical situations which might occur in the daily practice.
you have no experience on basic concepts of US, MDCT and MRI.
So far no course exists that addresses the imaging spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases in a multidisciplinary approach for a multidisciplinary audience of radiologists, surgeons and gastroenterologists. In current medicine the use of imaging is not anymore only restricted to radiologists. Surgeons, gastroenterologists and many other specialists need to understand the images that they use in daily practice to guide their treatment. Vice versa radiologists now have become true sparring partners for their clinical colleagues and need to know the clinically relevant questions in order to provide useful information that will impact treatment decision making.
Radiologists, Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Oncologists, Radiotherapists, Pathologists
you want to improve your knowledge widening your view from a radiologist’s perspective to a more general clinical approach.
you have no experience at all about the topic under discussion; if you are not interested in clinical lectures, providing information about data of trials; or of you expect to review cases only from a radiological point of view.
