The ESGAR 2020 Virtual Congress is free of charge for ESGAR members and Non-ESGAR members if you register without CME. If you opt for registration with CME there will be some fee (see below).
Please complete the registration process first. After successful registration, participants log in to the Virtual Congress platform with the ID created during the registration process!
The Virtual Congress platform opened on Tuesday, May 19, at 9:00 CEST.
Registration is possible until May 31.
It is, however recommended to register before the start of the congress to be sure not to miss out on any live streamed sessions!
Access for Non-members expires on May 31, ESGAR Members will have access also thereafter.
Please note that during registration process you have to choose the option: “Live Streaming with CME Certificate“ to be able to claim CME credits for the live streamed sessions afterwards.
CME credits will be available only for the live streamed sessions. Considering the number of sessions offered live, 11 CME credits will be granted by the UEMS for the entire Virtual Congress.
The fees for CME accredited congress participation (including a CME certificate) are:
ESGAR members € 50.00
Non Members € 190.00
The pre-requisite for claiming CME is
a) attendance at live streamed sessions
b) completion of session evaluation by May 22, 18:00 CEST
c) completion of event evaluation
The ESGAR 2020 Virtual Congress, 19/05/2020- 22/05/2020 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 11 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
