Together with the Oman Radiology and Molecular Imaging Society (ORMIS), ESGAR is delighted to announce the ESGAR Advanced Imaging in Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Disorders Workshop. During these two days, technical topics will be mixed with clinical lectures and the learning experience will be enhanced by multiple interactive sessions based on case presentations.

Learning Objectives

  • To learn the different techniques used in abdominal MRI
  • To explain the current role of functional MR imaging and explain how to characterize incidental focal liver lesions
  • To discuss how abnormalities in blood flow can affect the enhancement pattern of the liver on CT and MRI
  • To demonstrate the broad spectrum of benign biliary disorders, including stones, inflammation, benign tumors, postoperative changes, cholestatic liver diseases, etc
  • To review the classification of cystic lesions of the pancreas
  • To understand the role of different imaging modalities in IBDs
  • To understand how restaging MRI can alter treatment in patients with rectal cancer and become familiar with organ preservation

The number of participants per workshop is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Together with the registration payment is necessary.
