ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) and EDS (European Digestive Society) aim to join forces in the organization of a multidisciplinary course on pancreatic diseases. The participants will learn how diagnosis depends on the structure of the pancreatic lesion, which can be directly visualized on US, CT or MR images and PET. Diagnosis depends also from invasive examinations. The timing of diagnosis has a great influence on the possibility of surgical approaches and prognosis. This workshop will be invaluable in enabling radiologists to understand the underlying pathology. The multidisciplinary approach is the key to guarantee the best diagnostic strategies and patient management.

Interactive elements:
The course format encourages interaction with teachers via MCQs and Q&A. Lectures will be followed by case-based interactive multidisciplinary discussions.

Target group

The target group consists of senior residents and junior specialists/consultants with particular interest in the diagnosis and management of patients with pancreatic diseases.
